News from the Bubble World of Pop Euphoria: The French Connection Comes to WRIU Radio!

I’ll get right to it here, dear readers. As you know, WRIU—90.3 FM, Kingston, also streaming at wriu.org–has generously given me two hours of airtime every Sunday night (now broadcasting from 5-7 PM) for just over two years and 94 programs for my show, Picture This: Film Music on the Radio.

A few different programs have followed mine during that time, all good, but I am especially pleased to announce The French Connection, the one that’s just come on (debuted last Sunday from 7-8 PM). Hosted by self-described Francophile Michael Stevenson, it promises to be a unique two hours of music, sampling, according to Stevenson, “the wonderful varieties of French music, from the early 1920s to present day: Chanson, Jazz, Folk, Jazz Manouche and Rock n Roll.”
